EVE2 Display Modules – Second EVE Generation with Quad-SPI and Larger Display Range
The Riverdi EVE2 series are TFT display modules with the Bridgetek FT812/FT813 graphics processor and SPI/QSPI interface. Compared to EVE1, EVE2 offers larger display sizes (up to 7.0"), Quad-SPI for faster data transfer and more internal graphics memory – available with various touch options and optionally with a metal mounting frame.
EVE GPU Architecture
Bridgetek FT812/FT813 renders the display via an object list – no large frame buffer needed in the host. Low CPU load and minimal memory requirements in the microcontroller.
SPI/QSPI Interface
Simple connection via SPI or Quad-SPI (FT812/FT813) to STM32, AVR, PIC and other microcontrollers. Quad-SPI enables up to four times higher data throughput.
Integrated Graphics Functions
Anti-aliasing, bitmaps, gradients, scalable fonts and audio PWM directly in the chip. More internal RAM than EVE1 for larger display lists and more complex UIs.
Touch Options
Available without touch, with resistive touch (RTP) or capacitive touch (PCAP). Optional metal mounting frame for panel installation.
Wider Display Selection
Sizes 3.5" to 7.0" (320×240 to 800×480), TN panel, operating temperature −20 °C to +70 °C, supply voltage 3.3 V.
Recommendation for New Designs
Riverdi recommends the EVE4 series (Bridgetek BT817Q) for new designs: IPS panel with full viewing angle, higher brightness and QSPI. EVE2 displays remain available and deliverable for existing projects.
