LVDS TN Display Modules – Differential Serial Interface for Interference-Resistant Connections
The Riverdi LVDS TN series are 7.0" TFT display modules with an LVDS interface (Low-Voltage Differential Signaling). LVDS transmits the image signal differentially, enabling longer cable runs with high noise immunity – ideal for industrial applications where the processor is not located directly next to the display. Available with various touch options.
LVDS Interface
Low-Voltage Differential Signaling transmits the image signal with high noise immunity over longer cable runs. Compatible with processors and SoCs with native LVDS support (e.g. i.MX6, AM57x, Zynq).
7.0" TN Panel
800×480 and 1024×600 resolution on proven TN panels. Fast response time; restricted vertical viewing angle typical for TN technology.
Interference-Resistant Transmission
Differential signal transmission reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference. Suitable for applications in industrial environments with motor drives, switching power supplies or radio sources.
Touch Options
Available without touch, with resistive touch (RTP) or capacitive touch (PCAP). Optional mounting frame for easy panel installation.
Industrial Grade
7.0" display size, operating temperature −20 °C to +70 °C, supply voltage 3.3 V. Designed for continuous use in embedded systems.
Recommendation for New Designs
Riverdi recommends the LVDS High Brightness IPS series for new designs: IPS panel with full viewing angle, up to 1000 cd/m² brightness and better contrast. LVDS TN displays remain available and deliverable for existing projects.
