STM32 Embedded Displays – Complete HMI System with Integrated STM32 Processor
The Riverdi STM32 series are high brightness IPS displays with an integrated STM32 microcontroller (STM32H7 or STM32U5) – GUI, touch and communication interfaces run directly in the display, no separate host processor required. Available in 3.5" to 12.1" with a wide supply voltage range of 6–48 V for industrial applications.
Integrated STM32 Processor
STM32H7: Dual-core Cortex-M7 (480 MHz) + Cortex-M4 (240 MHz) for maximum graphics performance up to 1280×800. STM32U5: Cortex-M33 with NeoChromVG graphics accelerator for energy-efficient applications.
High Brightness IPS
IPS panel with full viewing angle and 800–1200 cd/m² brightness – excellent readability even in bright industrial environments. Optical bonding and black cover glass depending on model.
Industrial Interfaces
RS485, RS232, 2× CAN FD, USB (Host/Device), SPI, UART, I²C, PWM, ADC, DAC – routed directly from the STM32. RiBUS connector for a second display. 40-pin expansion header for additional peripherals.
Generous Memory
Depending on model: up to 64 MB SDRAM, up to 512 MB QSPI flash and a Micro-SD card slot (SD/SDHC/SDXC) for application data, media and logging.
Touch & Robustness
Capacitive PCAP touch optional. Reverse polarity protection, low-EMI backlight, operating temperature −20 °C to +70 °C. Supply voltage 6–48 V (wide input range).
TouchGFX & Dual-Display
Direct TouchGFX support with ready-to-use board setup packages in STM32 TouchGFX Designer. RiBUS enables connection of a second display without additional logic.
