Modules for Embedded Projects – Microcontrollers and Peripherals, Designed In-House

This category contains modules developed and manufactured in-house. The range covers compact microcontroller modules based on established ARM and AVR architectures, as well as specialised peripheral modules – designed for professional use in embedded applications, from prototyping through to small and medium production runs.

⬡

In-House Development & Manufacturing

The modules in this category are proprietary designs – developed from concrete application requirements and manufactured in-house. A number of companies already use these modules in their own products. Enquiries for larger quantities or project-specific requirements are welcome.

◆

Perfboard & Carrier Boards

Many modules route their connections to 2.54 mm pitch connectors, making them suitable for direct assembly on perfboard systems or for use with a custom carrier board – either soldered permanently or plugged in with receptacles.

☑

Quality Manufacturing

FR4 PCBs with immersion gold finish (NiAu), solder resist, RoHS compliant. Decoupling provisions on all relevant supply rails; interfaces fitted with EMC components.

⇄

ARM Cortex-M0+ & AVR

Microcontroller modules based on Atmel/Microchip SAM D (ARM Cortex-M0+) and ATmega (AVR) – established architectures with broad tool support (Atmel Studio, CMSIS, Arduino framework). ARM modules include a Cortex Debug connector (SWD, 10-pin, pin-compatible with Atmel-ICE); AVR modules include an ISP header.

◎

Peripheral Modules

Alongside microcontroller modules, the category also includes peripheral modules. Currently: the TuneSOne audio module (MP3 MPEG1/2 Layer III, Class-D amplifier 1 W/8 Ω, SPI interface with level shifting, 32 MB flash, Windows software for audio container creation). Further modules will be added.

MEGA2560-USB
MEGA2560-USB

Eigenschaften: Microcontrollermodule with ATmega2560-AU AVR microcontroller and Silabs CP2102 USB-UART bridge. TuneSOne Audio Modul
TuneSOne Audio Modul

With the TuneSOne audio module, you can easily add audio and voice output to your project. Main Features The audio decoder module supports MP3 MPEG 1 and 2 Audio Layer III formats with constant and variable bit rates up to a data rate of 320 kBit/s.  The integrated Class D audio amplifier can drive an 8-ohm speaker with an output power of 1 W. It features a circuit for reducing clicks and pops, as well as active emission limiting, slew rate limiting, and overshoot control to significantly reduce EMI. The module has an SPI interface with a user-friendly protocol and a level translation function (VDDIO 3.3 V to 5 V). The audio files are stored in a flash memory with 32 MB storage capacity and are located in a robust file container. The audio file container is programmed into the flash memory via a microSD card. The audio file container is created using the TuneSOne Windows software. The source audio files for the project are stored in a project directory and managed via Windows Explorer. This makes it easy to port, modify, expand, and duplicate the project.
